Oily dandruff consists of yellowish, greasy scales that stick to the scalp and hair, on skin that gets oily quickly. Traditional Chinese Medicine sees two imbalances combined: the Wood Element, linked to the liver and gallbladder, which governs sebum, and the Earth Element, which governs the clearing of waste.

Oily dandruff: how to recognise the signs
- Yellowish, greasy scales rather than small white flakes.
- Flakes that stick to the scalp and hair and do not fall when brushing.
- A scalp that gets oily again quickly after shampooing.
- Possible itching, sometimes slight redness.
Why a standard anti-dandruff shampoo is not enough
A drying shampoo removes oil and scales for a few hours, but the scalp often reacts by producing more sebum. For TCM, both terrains need to be addressed at once: regulating the excess sebum of the Wood Element and helping the skin clear its waste, without harshness.
What makes the Géomer approach different
A Wood Element blend to regulate sebum, combined with Earth Element propolis to purify: two Elements worked on together, with ingredients of natural origin.
What Géomer recommends
1

Regulate sebum
On a dry scalp, apply 13 drops of Amplitude Oil N°1 over the whole head and massage with your fingertips to spread it. Do not wet.
2

Purify with propolis
Still on a dry scalp, spread 2 pumps of Propolis Shampoo, or rub on the solid version, Propolis Shampoo Bar. Massage with your fingertips to loosen the scales and leave on for 7 minutes. Add a little water, lather, then rinse with lukewarm water and towel dry well.
3

Settle the scalp
Apply a little Oligo F4 to the scalp, parting by parting, to help it regain its natural balance. Do not rinse, and style as usual.

Without water, the propolis stays concentrated on the skin during the 7-minute application time. Water is only used at the end, to lather and rinse.
