Since the founding of Laboratoire Géomer, my conviction has remained the same: a treatment should support the overall balance of the person, rather than acting only on the surface. Drawing on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the power of organic silicon, I wanted to create treatments that restore balance in depth, for hair and skin. All our products are designed, formulated and made here, in the Ardennes, with highly assimilable ingredients of natural origin.

Alain Ledroit: entrepreneur and founder of Laboratoire Géomer
Alain Ledroit is a Belgian entrepreneur, born on 3 August 1965 in Charleroi, to an engineer father and a hairdresser mother. Alain Ledroit has been the founder and director of Laboratoire Géomer since 2009. After living between Belgium and the south of France (06220 Vallauris), he settled in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2015 to develop Laboratoire Géomer's online business. Estonia is the most advanced European country in internet technology. The Baltic countries are very fond of natural products for their well-being. In February 2023, the Géomer manufacturing and production centre was set up in Fumay, France (Ardennes department, Grand-Est region).
Early years
- From a very young age, Alain Ledroit was convinced that imbalances do not appear by chance. He deeply believes that the mind is often their cause.
- Just as plants offer natural benefits for everyday well-being.
- One book in particular caught his attention: "Our grandmothers knew" by Jean Palaiseul, published by Robert Laffont. This book is a great classic of natural medicine. It combines a long tradition of wisdom and common sense, born of respect for the laws of nature. This advice, handed down from generation to generation, helps us live better and feel better throughout the seasons with what nature gives us.
The Géomer products
In 1988, the Exclusive and Plagénol brands were created by Idéaline Sas in 13410 Lambresh (France)
In 2002, the two brands Exclusive and Plagénol were brought together under the name Géomer.
In 2004, in October, the Géomer brand was bought by Laboratoire Alcos in 13127 Vitrolles
In 2005, during a visit to the professional beauty and aesthetics trade show in Lille (France), Alain Ledroit discovered Géomer products for the first time, presented by Laboratoire Alcos and by Daniel Argelas (Vitrolles, France). He was won over by the concept that our skin is the outer image of our inner health: what balances the inside shows on the outside. He proposed the beginning of a partnership in autumn 2005.
The collaboration began with the distribution of Géomer products in Belgium, which proved a success with beauty professionals across the board.
In 2008, Laboratoire Alcos announced its intention to sell Géomer, wishing to focus solely on contract manufacturing of cosmetics for many commercial brands.
On 26 January 2009, Alain Ledroit bought the Géomer brand and created Laboratoire Géomer with its new logo.
In February 2013, Alain Ledroit created Laboratoire Géomer's online shop to meet the demand of internet users with skin and hair concerns.
Laboratoire Géomer specialises in naturopathy and energetic aromatherapy.
In September 2022, the website https://www.veti-sana.com/ went live.
This is the range of veterinary products suited to the needs of dogs, cats and horses. These products come from the Géomer range and their formulas have been adapted to the specific needs of animals.
February 2023: opening of the production centre for Géomer and Véti-Sana products in the French Ardennes, in 08170 Fumay.
Alain Ledroit: A Holistic Approach to Well-being
- Everything on this planet is energy. Understanding it and knowing how to channel it makes it possible to help others learn to do the same.
- Passionate about traditional approaches to well-being, Alain Ledroit trained in Eastern energy practices, thereby enriching his holistic vision of body-mind harmony.
- Reiki is the art of channelling the energy of the Universe and the Earth, and then transmitting it through the laying on of hands. This technique of Japanese origin was developed in the 19th century by Dr Mikao Usui.
- Having successfully completed all the Reiki initiation courses, Alain Ledroit became a Reiki Master, which means he has the right and the skills to teach Reiki from the first to the fourth degree.
- Reiki does not replace medicine.
- In Switzerland and Germany, Reiki practitioners work in hospitals in collaboration with doctors.
- This philosophy inspires Laboratoire Géomer's respectful and caring approach to creating natural cosmetics.
