A conditioner that does far more than detangle

The Hair Balm is not a conventional conditioner. Its high concentration of hydrolysed wheat proteins allows two distinct uses depending on the amount applied — without ever weighing down even the finest hair.

In a small amount: it makes detangling easier and brings shine and lightness.

In a larger amount with a longer leave-in time: it deeply nourishes, coats dried-out ends and helps smooth the look of brittle, split hair.

What the Hair Balm does

Detangles effortlessly — the coating agents and the cationic conditioner (Dipalmitoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate) neutralise electrostatic charges and let the comb pass even through the most tangled hair.

Coats the hair fibre — hydrolysed wheat proteins settle on the cuticle and form a protective film that smooths, protects and brings shine without residue.

Cares for the ends — used as an intensive mask, it coats dried-out and sensitised ends. Brittle, split hair looks more supple.

Does not weigh down — despite its richness, it keeps fine hair light thanks to its carefully dosed natural emollients (Decyl Oleate).


Key ingredients

Wheat Proteins

Extracted from wheat, these proteins penetrate damaged hair fibre to fill it in and strengthen it from within. They restore suppleness and resistance to hair weakened by chemical treatments, heat or time.

Natural Coating Agents

A synergy of plant-derived conditioners that settle on the hair to neutralise static electricity, make detangling easier and wrap each strand in a smooth, protective film.

Plant Emollient

Derived from olive oil, it brings suppleness and lightness to the formula without any greasy effect. It is what allows the Balm to suit even the finest hair without ever weighing it down.

Expert advice

Detangling use — after every shampoo:

  • After rinsing out the shampoo, take a hazelnut-sized amount in your hands
  • Spread over all the hair as if you were wiping your hands
  • Comb through — if detangling is easy, the amount is right
  • Leave on for 2 minutes
  • Very fine hair: rinse thoroughly
  • Medium-textured hair: rinse lightly
  • Thick, frizzy, very dry hair: do not rinse

Repairing mask use — once a week:

  • Apply 4 times more product than for detangling use
  • Leave on for 1 hour in the open air
  • To speed things up: cover with gentle heat for 15 minutes
  • Rinse well, then apply again in a detangling amount

Easy detangling is the best indicator — if the comb passes without resistance, the amount is right. If knots remain, wipe your hands and take a little more product. Conversely, if your hair feels slightly sticky after rinsing, reduce the amount next time.

Yes — for thick, frizzy or very dry hair, not rinsing is even the recommended routine. The Balm then acts as a leave-in conditioner that continues to moisturise and protect the hair fibre throughout the day.
