Understanding toxin overload according to TCM

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, scales, rough patches and uncomfortable skin are the visible sign of an excess of toxins that cannot be eliminated by natural routes and rise to the skin. This imbalance is linked to the Earth Element — energy no. 3, which governs the Spleen, the Stomach and the Pancreas.

Propolis, produced by bees to protect the hive, helps purify deeply — it cleanses and helps the skin restore its natural balance. The soap's natural glycerine at the same time protects the skin from external aggressors during and after washing.

What Natural Propolis Soap does

Purifies deeply — the pure propolis in the superfat settles directly on the skin with every wash and cleanses areas of toxin overload without harming the surrounding healthy skin.

Soothes without drying — unlike chemical soaps that strip the skin, propolis cleanses gently while natural glycerine moisturises and protects.

Suitable for the most sensitive skin — the complete absence of essential oils makes it suitable for people with very reactive skin who cannot tolerate the essential oils usually found in purifying care products.

For body and face — ideal on all dry or uncomfortable, rough or scaly areas of the body.

Pure propolis

A natural purifier produced by bees to protect the hive. Present directly in the soap's superfat — it settles on the skin with every wash without being rinsed off. A purifying, cleansing action on areas of toxin overload. The same active as in Géomer Propolis Shampoo, in an ultra-concentrated solid format.

70% olive oil & natural glycerine

Olive oil brings softness and nourishment to fragile skin. Natural glycerine — formed during cold saponification and fully retained in the soap — protects the skin and maintains its hydration during and after washing. Two inseparable actives that make it possible to cleanse without harshness.

30% coconut oil

Coconut oil gives the soap its natural foaming power — gentle and purifying, it complements the purifying action of propolis and gives the soap its slightly creamy texture. Combined with olive oil, it creates a soap that is cleansing, nourishing and purifying all at once.

Expert Advice

Body and areas concerned:

  • Wet the skin, rub the soap directly on the areas concerned
  • Finish with a washcloth for a thorough cleanse
  • Rinse thoroughly

Face:

  • Rub the soap lightly over the wet face
  • Massage with your fingers and rinse thoroughly

Homemade liquid soap:

  • Grate 100 g of soap
  • Pour in 1 litre of hot water
  • Mix and leave to cool — liquid soap ready to use

This soap is designed for the skin of the body and face — it is not recommended for the scalp. For purifying scalp care, use Géomer Propolis Shampoo.


Frequently asked questions

No — contrary to what you might think, this soap is not suited to the scalp. Its olive + coconut oil base can dry out the scalp and, paradoxically, cause scales after repeated use. For purifying scalp care, Géomer Propolis Shampoo is the right product.

Fragrance-free, essential-oil-free, PEG-free, paraben-free. Not tested on animals. Biodegradable.
