Understanding toxin-laden skin according to TCM

Dull skin that struggles to eliminate its impurities and develops spots, itching and persistent dandruff is not simply "tired" skin — it is skin whose natural drainage has slowed down. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this imbalance is linked to the Earth Element — energy no. 3, which governs the Spleen, the Stomach and the Pancreas. What Terral Jaune does

Purifies in depth — yellow illite clay helps purify the skin, decongests pores and cleanses the most congested skin.

Helps reduce dandruff — can be applied directly to the scalp; it helps purify the scalp in depth rather than on the surface. 1 jar of 250 ml = 12 full scalp applications.

Restores radiance — dull, poorly drained skin gradually regains luminosity and clarity after drainage.

Remineralises — carrageenan and organic silicon (monomethylsilanetriol) offset the mineral depletion of drained tissues and support skin renewal after the mask.

Key ingredients

Yellow illite clay + Kaolin

Yellow illite is the purifying and cleansing clay par excellence for toxin-laden skin. Kaolin completes its action by absorbing surface impurities and mattifying — without harming sensitive, poorly drained skin.

Organic silicon

Present as monomethylsilanetriol, it enhances the penetration of the purifying ingredients into the deeper layers, supports skin renewal after drainage and helps maintain skin elasticity and hydration after application.

7 synergistic essential oils

Thyme · Lavender · Clove · Eucalyptus · Juniper berries · Sage · Lemon. They purify, cleanse and stimulate skin microcirculation — acting specifically on the Spleen, Stomach and Pancreas meridians according to TCM logic.

Application protocol:

  • Apply with a brush (8 mm face / 16 mm scalp) to uncleansed skin
  • Apply a layer about 1 mm thick
  • Do not let it dry completely — top up with a little product if necessary
  • Rinse with lukewarm or cold water, then cleanse the skin

Application to uncleansed skin is intentional — the clay works better on the toxins naturally present on the surface.

Going further — Géomer personalisation: Add a few drops of Amplitude N°3 directly to the mask before application to enhance the purifying action on the Spleen, Stomach and Pancreas meridians — particularly recommended at the change of seasons.

Frequently asked questions

Both are purifying masks, but they target different imbalances. Terral Vert (Wood Element) regulates excess sebum — it is ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin. Terral Jaune (Earth Element) helps purify the skin — it suits dull, poorly drained skin prone to dandruff and itching. The two can be used alternately if several imbalances coexist.

For toxin-laden skin: twice a week in the initial phase, then once a week for maintenance. For scalps with persistent dandruff: 1 to 2 times a week depending on intensity. At the change of seasons, an intensive 2- to 3-week course is particularly recommended.

On its own, Terral Jaune drains and purifies in depth.
