Why this scrub works
Sea salt mechanically removes dead skin and helps activate blood circulation. Émulsion Phyto Douce provides the hydration and softness needed so that the scrub is never aggressive. Amplitude N°4 completes the routine with its calming and regenerating action — it improves subcutaneous microcirculation so that the skin better absorbs the active ingredients that follow. This routine is also ideal before and during sun exposure to maintain an even and lasting tan.
Homemade body scrub: how to recognise the signs
- Rough skin, especially on the elbows, knees and heels.
- Dull-looking skin on the body.
- Small bumps on the arms or thighs.
- A cream that does not absorb well.
Why a scrub alone is not enough
A scrub removes dead skin, but skin that is rubbed without being nourished soon dries out. In TCM, the skin depends on the Metal Element, linked to the lungs: it needs to be both renewed and remineralised. That is why the Géomer recipe combines sea salt with a moisturising emulsion and Amplitude N°4. Rinsing with Seaweed Shampoo and a final moisturising step complete the routine.
What makes the Géomer approach different
A simple homemade recipe in which each ingredient has its role — exfoliating, moisturising, soothing, remineralising — with an Amplitude oil you can choose according to your Element.
The ingredients
- Coarse sea salt — for normal skin. Fine salt for sensitive skin.
- Émulsion Phyto Douce — non-greasy moisturising emulsion, the base of the mixture
- Amplitude N°4 — synergistic essential oil, calming and regenerating action
- Seaweed Shampoo — for rinsing, rich in seaweed and minerals
The recipe — step by step
1

Prepare the mixture
In a bowl, mix equal parts of 100 g of sea salt and 100 ml of Émulsion Phyto Douce. Add 12 drops of Amplitude N°4 and mix.
2

Application
Apply the mixture over the whole body with gentle circular movements, always from the bottom upwards to promote venous and lymphatic return.
3

Massage
Insist on rough areas — elbows, knees, heels — and areas with cellulite. The upward movement helps the circulation to drain toxins.
4

Rinsing
Remove the residues in the shower with Seaweed Shampoo — rich in minerals, it is perfect for rinsing off this type of routine and providing a remineralising boost.
5

Final hydration
Pat dry gently, then apply Émulsion Phyto Douce over the whole body. The skin, activated by the scrub, absorbs the hydration in depth.
Personalise your scrub — Replace Amplitude N°4 with the Amplitude corresponding to your dominant Element for a truly tailor-made routine. Amplitude N°1 (Wood) for oily skin, Amplitude N°2 (Fire) for congested skin, Amplitude N°5 (Water) for tired skin.
The Émulsion Phyto Douce extra — Apply it right after hair removal (legs, eyebrows, upper lip) to help soothe the skin.
