The same care — without the bottle

The pH Correcting Shampoo Bar is not a different product from the liquid pH Correcting Shampoo. It is its concentrated version, with no added water and no plastic packaging — moulded into a bar for a natural, intuitive grip in the shower.

The same fruit acids (malic acid from Granny Smith apples, glycolic, lactic and citric acids), the same acidifying pH 4.5, the same Fire Element positioning. One 125 ml bar replaces two 200 ml bottles — 6 months of use for the same price. And nothing to throw away.

The solid formula keeps all the advantages of the liquid version — with no added glycerine or silicone, it leaves no residue on the hair fibre. The cuticles close, and hair shines naturally without being weighed down.

What the pH Correcting Shampoo Bar does

Closes the hair cuticles — AHA fruit acids lower the hair's pH towards its natural level of 4.5. Cuticles opened by colouring, perms or UV close up — the fibre regains its protective structure.

Shine and suppleness — hair with closed cuticles reflects light better and glides naturally — visibly shinier hair.

Preserves colour — by maintaining an acidic pH, it helps slow colour oxidation and prolong its vibrancy between colourings.

No residue — no added glycerine, no silicone, no polymer. The bar cleanses and acidifies without leaving a film on the hair fibre.

Zero waste — no plastic packaging, no bottle to throw away. The bar is used up completely — biodegradable and plant-based.

Evidence & key actives

Granny Smith apple extract & AHA

Malic acid · Glycolic acid · Lactic acid · Citric acid. The same acidifying synergy as in the liquid pH Correcting Shampoo — concentrated in the bar. Granny Smith apple extract is the main source of natural malic acid. Together these AHAs bring the hair's pH back to 4.5 and close the cuticles opened by oxidation.

White clay (kaolin)

White clay softens and smooths the hair fibre during the leave-on time. It contributes to the characteristic soft feel of the pH Correcting Shampoo Bar — hair comes out of the wash silky and easy to detangle.

Plant-based surfactants & texturising agents

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate + Sodium Coco-Sulfate derived from coconut — plant-based, biodegradable cleansing agents. Texturising agents (Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate) give the bar its firmness and ease of use without weighing down coloured hair.

Expert Advice

Use:

  • Wet your hair
  • Rub the bar directly on your hair or work up a lather between your palms
  • Lather and leave on for 4 minutes
  • Rinse thoroughly

125 ml bar ≈ 100 shampoos — 6 months at 2 shampoos a week. Tip: when the bar gets thin at the end of its life, it becomes more fragile. Slip it into a lather net to use it down to the last gram.

Tailor-made customisation: Add a few drops of Amplitude N°2 to the lather created in your palms before applying — same Fire Element, a natural synergy particularly recommended after summer exposure.

Frequently asked questions

The base formula is the same — the same AHAs, the same pH 4.5, the same Fire Element. The Bar is more concentrated (no added water), with no glycerine or silicone. It is also more economical and completely free of plastic waste. The result on the hair is practically identical, according to users who have tried both versions.

Yes — any hair exposed to the sun, heat or chemical treatments benefits from pH-correcting care. It is particularly recommended after summer for people exposed to UV, even without colouring. For daily use on healthy, untreated hair, the standard liquid version or the G5 Shampoo Bar are more suitable.

No — the pH Correcting Shampoo Bar is formulated exclusively for the hair. Its blend of fruit acids and hair surfactants is calibrated for the hair fibre, not for the skin of the body. For the skin of the body, Géomer Propolis Soap is the right product.
