Deficiency hair loss in women

What Géomer recommends to rebalance the scalp

Laboratoire Géomer

Deficiency hair loss in women shows as hair that becomes fine, dry and brittle and falls out diffusely. It is often confused with hereditary hair loss, whereas its causes are many: seasons, diets, over-frequent washing, a tight or congested scalp. Traditional Chinese Medicine sees in it depleted mineral reserves, linked to the Metal Element, which governs the quality of the skin and hair.

At a glance

Who is it for

  • Hair that thins, becomes dry, brittle and flat.
  • Diffuse hair loss all over the head, stronger when the seasons change.

Frequency

Do the full routine (steps 1 to 4) twice a week at first, then once a week when new hairs appear. Oligo F3 is applied every evening; Régénorsil no more than twice a week, once the hair loss has stabilised.

Deficiency hair loss in women: how to recognise the signs

  • Hair that thins, becomes dry, brittle and flat.
  • Diffuse hair loss all over the head, stronger when the seasons change.
  • A widening parting or thinning temples.
  • A slimming or high-protein diet, or daily washing that dries out the scalp.
  • A tight scalp, sometimes with dandruff or excessive sweating.

Why vitamins or a shampoo alone are not enough

Hair roots are nourished through the scalp. If it is tight, congested or dried out by over-frequent washing, minerals no longer reach the follicles. For TCM, the scalp must be loosened, drained and then remineralised, at its own pace and in step with the seasons. This is the order the Géomer protocol follows.

Terral Blanc

What makes the Géomer approach different

A protocol that starts from the Element of your scalp, not from a hereditary label: clay, remineralisation and leave-in care developed with the ARK Quantique Process®.

What Géomer recommends

1

Loosen the scalp

Loosen the scalp

Pinch the scalp into folds under your fingers, from the nape towards the forehead, so that it loosens and the blood flows freely. If your scalp is very tight, do this massage every day for 5 minutes.

2

Drain and remineralise with a Terral

Drain and remineralise with a Terral

Using a brush, apply a layer of about 1 mm of Terral Blanc (Metal Element) over the whole scalp. If your scalp is dry and itchy, add a few drops of Amplitude Oil N°4 to the mask. If you see thinning areas on a scalp lacking vitality, Terral Gris can be used instead. Leave on for 20 minutes without letting it dry, then rinse with lukewarm water.

3

Wash without drying out

Wash without drying out

Wring out your hair with a towel. Apply a small amount of Seaweed Shampoo to the scalp, leave on for 2 minutes, wet, work into a light lather and rinse. If your lengths are very dry, porous or coloured, Nourishing Shampoo (4 minutes on the hair) is a better fit. Space out your washes: daily washing dries out the scalp.

4

Nourish the lengths

Nourish the lengths

Spread a small amount of Hair Balm through the hair, comb, leave on for 2 minutes and rinse lightly. Once a week, use it as a mask: 4 times more product, 1 hour on the hair, then rinse.

5

Remineralise every evening

Remineralise every evening

Every evening, spread a few drops of Oligo F3 over the whole scalp and massage it in with your fingertips. Do not rinse: it is not sticky.

6

Revitalise the scalp

Revitalise the scalp

When the hair loss has stabilised, spray Régénorsil onto the scalp, no more than twice a week, before the evening product (order: Régénorsil, Oligo F3). Massage in, do not rinse. Used too early, it can temporarily increase the shedding of hairs at the end of their cycle.

7

As an optional extra

Frequently asked questions

No. The seasons, diet, stress, over-frequent washing or a congested scalp often play a role. A hair assessment helps identify your profile.

TCM links each season to an Element. Autumn, the season of Metal, puts mineral reserves to the test: it is the time to remineralise the scalp regularly.

Seaweed Shampoo suits fine, demineralised hair. Nourishing Shampoo suits very dry, porous, curly lengths or lengths damaged by colouring.

Only once the hair loss has stabilised, no more than twice a week. Before that, it can temporarily increase the shedding of hairs already at the end of their cycle.

Yes, if hair loss is sudden or heavy: your doctor can check for a deficiency. This cosmetic protocol complements their follow-up.
