What TCM says about normal skin
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, balanced skin reflects harmony between the Metal and Water Elements — the two Elements that govern the skin, the lungs and the kidneys. Maintaining this balance requires adapting care to each season: what nourishes the skin in autumn will not be what protects it in spring. That is why each Géomer protocol is designed in line with the seasonal energy of the moment.

Normal skin: how to recognise the signs
- An even skin texture, neither shiny nor tight.
- Barely visible pores and an even complexion.
- Skin that feels comfortable all day long.
- Slight seasonal variations: a little drier in winter, a little shinier in summer.
Why a moisturiser alone is not enough
Normal skin is not fixed skin: its balance shifts with the seasons. In TCM, it rests on the harmony between the Metal Element, linked to the lungs and the skin, and the Water Element, linked to the kidneys and our reserves. The same cream used all year round looks after the surface without following these changes. The Géomer protocol therefore alternates a light weekly step with a fuller monthly routine.
What makes the Géomer approach different
A simple weekly and monthly rhythm, with Terrals and Amplitude oils chosen according to the Metal and Water Elements to keep your skin balanced from one season to the next.
The weekly routine — basic maintenance
Frequency: once a week Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser, then apply Émulsion Phyto Douce with a light massage to the face, neck and décolleté. This weekly step is enough to maintain the skin's hydration and suppleness between in-depth routines.
The monthly in-depth routine — complete protocol
1

Cleansing
Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser to remove surface impurities.
2

Exfoliation
Apply the Gommage Végétal in successive dabs over the whole face. Leave on for 2 minutes, then make gentle circular movements until the flakes are removed. Rinse.
3

Drainage
Massage the face, neck and décolleté with Émulsion Phyto Douce mixed with 5 to 7 drops of Amplitude N°4 to soothe and remineralise. If the skin is congested, replace Amplitude N°4 with Amplitude N°2 to stabilise vascularisation and refresh.
4
Mineralising mask
Apply Terral Blanc in an even layer of about 1 mm over the whole face. Terral drains and remineralises in depth.
5

Leave on
Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not let the Terral dry out — reapply if necessary. Tip: for plumped skin, extend to 30 minutes.
6

Rinsing
Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Pat dry gently.
7

Regeneration
Apply Régénorsil to promote skin cell regeneration.
8

Final hydration
Finish with Émulsion Phyto Douce for normal skin, or Ultra L Cream for skin that wants to prevent ageing. For mature skin, Ultra L Collagen Cream is recommended to stimulate natural collagen synthesis.
The Émulsion Phyto Douce extra — Apply it right after hair removal (legs, eyebrows, upper lip) to help soothe the skin.
